Description

The HERMES briefcase, groups the functions of a mobile studio and those of a multi-standard audio-video compression system capable to dramatically reduce the digital contents dimensions, thus maintaining a very high and controllable quality level. By means of this system it is possible to transmit LIVE through an IP satellite modem (i.e.: R-Bgan) or a leased line (HDSL ADSL ISDN or phone) the audio-video streaming or a content previously stored and edited, to the broadcast station. As example a 1 min. content, compressed in good quality can be transferred in 13 sec. over HDSL, 2 min. over ADSL, 4 min. over ISDN, 10 min. By a 56K modem, 4 to 5 min. over satellite.
